Shades of Red
My photo, Through the Red Looking Glass, won a Bronze award in Camelback Gallery's Shades of Red visual arts competition in September 2021 and was featured through November of 2021. Shot in Texas at Lizzy Gators.
Bright Barn
We are not sure what the New Normal means, but it seems to represent a change (like a Bright Barn) from the old normal. This photo was juried into the Black Box online gallery under the theme of Color Burst, and will hang in the Jones Gallery in Kansas City in August. If Bright Barns start popping up across the mid-west, I am taking credit and claiming it is a featured element of the New Normal Art Movement.
The Opera House
People are acting like the "New Normal" is here with 60% of US adult having at least one vax shot and another 33 million having had COVID. But the new Delta variant is spreading like crazy, and foreign travel is still difficult. My Opera House picture, from our last trip overseas, was juried into a Monochrome group exhibit for July 2021 at the 311 Gallery in Raleigh, NC. An abstract photo representing the New Normal.

I'm departing from COVID under tones in this post. My photo, Green Smoke, was selected by the Midwest Center for Photography for their Abstract Exhibit - May 2021. I have been asked, What makes smoke burn green? I know it is not COVID....
In Tight Formation
On a cold day, I caught a shot of snow geese making their annual migration. Their annual flight pattern represents the changing of the season. As the vaccine roll out continues, humanity is also experiencing a changing of the seasons - no one is clapping yet as the final out come is still uncertain.
