Summer Sunset
Summer came to an end and the COVID virus is still out there. We had some nice sunsets on the east coast of the USA. Some attribute the red sky sunsets to smoke in the upper atmosphere from the wildfires in California and Oregon created. Here is a 2020

No Hunting

Barracuda
The fish, not the song by Heart. The rate of COVID virus infection is on the decline. Summer is in full swing as best it can be with physical distancing and people hesitant to get on airplanes with surfaces touched by thousands and recirculated air pumped thorough the silver cylinder. Barracudas remind me of silver cylinders cruising the ocean in search of their next victim. This will be my last fish blog for awhile. I'm moving on to new photos and new social commentary.
Turtle Victory
As the COVID virus continues to spread, I have decided to continue my fish theme. I shot this while snorkeling in St. John - I think it is a green turtle and not a hawksbill turtle. When you are in their environment, they can swim much faster than you can. COVID is killing humans, so most humans are social distancing and staying in their homes thereby limiting contact with virus carrying humans. This is destroying world economies, but the animals love it. Pollution in the skies and oceans is disappearing. People are seeing more mountain lions, eagles, dolphins, and turtles. Is mother nature striking back against greed? I'm not sure.
More Fish
OK - I realize this is not a new project or images in the works, but my ability to shoot is limited while stuck inside social distancing during the corona plague rage. And fish make me happy, especially fish in the Caribbean. All they do is swim around in warm perfectly clear waters, eating, sleeping, and creating more fish - they don't know anything about COVID-19 and they don't care. This continuing fish blog may be renamed - FISH PHOTOS TO FORGET ABOUT CORONA, and I have a lot of fish photos. So here are some more silver sides with some dying coral in the background. Nice to know that we haven't completely destroyed the planet - yet.......
