There is an area in Ocean City, MD between Baltimore Ave and the beach boardwalk that is riddled with motels and various amusements. There is nothing art deco about this area, but it is usually filled with people. During COVID this largely deserted area began to resemble skid row with its shady cast of characters. Borrowing from Bob Dylan, I began calling this project - Desolation Row. Photos from this portfolio have hung in the Black Box Gallery in Portland, OR, the Midwest Center for Photography in Wichita, KS, and at the International Photo Fest in Chania, Greece. The Los Angeles Photo Curator has also recognized the portfolio and placed one photo on their 2021 Top 40 list.
